♊ (Two entwined brothers)
The third astrological sign in the Zodiac, Gemini (Latin for “twins”) is associated with the twin half-brothers Castor and Pollux in Greek mythology. Castor and Pollux shared the same mother, Leda, but Castor was the son of the mortal king of Sparta, and Pollux was the son of the immortal king Zeus. When Castor was killed, Pollux requested that his father grant Castor immortality as well so that they could remain together. In granting his request, Zeus transformed them into the constellation Gemini so that they could remain together forever.
Geminians are full of life and are adventurous by nature. Their happy disposition is contagious and their charm is fascinating to others. They are wise, versatile and resourceful, as well as inquisitive and imaginative.
The Geminians’ gift of gab makes them great communicators and makes them excel in witty wordplays and dynamic dialogues. They have strong analytical skills and are full of ideas. They love to socialize and have a big heart for the less privileged.
Due to their adventurous nature, they hate routine and lack focus on a bad day. Geminians are fickle and can’t make up their minds regarding anything. They can be pessimistic and self-centered and tend to escape blame by placing it on others.
When in love, they are supremely rational. They don’t easily plunge into emotional depths and resilient love. They like to talk about their feelings, but they struggle to be honest with their feelings.
