A Little Note Before You Begin

There's no need to rush through this project. Take your time arranging your pieces, enjoy putting the butterfly together, and have fun with the process.

Each butterfly is made from bookboard salvaged from old books, so the colors and patterns will be different from the one I'm making in the video. While the 24 pieces fit together in one specific way, the finished butterfly will be uniquely yours.

That's one of my favorite things about working with salvaged materials. No two projects turn out quite the same.
