Let's Make Your Salvaged Samples Fabric Book

Your kit has arrived, and now it's time for the fun part!

I've always loved finding new ways to use little bits of fabric, especially those scraps that are too pretty to throw away. That's really what inspired this project. Taking a collection of fabrics, adding a little stitching and creativity, and turning it all into a book that's completely your own.

There's no right or wrong way to decorate your pages. You can follow my examples, try something different, or just see where your imagination takes you.

First, Let's Make Your Book

I've put together a downloadable guide with step-by-step photos to walk you through cutting, folding, and assembling your fabric book using a simple no-sew binding. You'll also find designs and ideas for adding appliqué, embroidery, and other embellishments to your pages.

Now, Make It Your Own!

Once your book is assembled, you'll have 32 pages to fill with whatever inspires you!

Use the fabric scraps, embroidery floss, and designs from your kit to start creating. Add buttons, lace, ribbons, or other little treasures you already have at home. You can keep things simple or fill every page with stitching and embellishments.

And don't feel like you have to finish it all at once. This is the kind of project you can pick up whenever you have a little time to create.
