Design Highlight: The Earth Laughs in Flowers

This week’s Design Highlight is my very own The Earth Laughs in Flowers yoga mat, whose title was taken from the poem Hamatreya by Ralph Waldo Emerson. The poem itself is…well, it’s a bit dark, being as it is about his Concord, New Hampshire neighbors who boast about their ownership of their beautiful farmland: …Earth laughs in flowers, to see her boastful boys Earth-proud, proud of the earth which is not theirs; Who steer the plough, but cannot steer their feet Clear of the grave… Like I said: dark. We Love Debbie Beauchene!

Design Highlight: The Ragnar Collection

Surprise! Today we’re introducing a new temporary collection of yoga and recovery mats designed especially for Ragnar Relay runners! We call it our Ragnar collection — obviously! If you’re not familiar with the Ragnar Relay Series, it’s a nationwide series of long-distance relay events that are roughly 200 miles long and last two days and one night. That’s right — the runners run overnight (which is why one of the events is called “Chase the Moon”). Ragnar relays are comprised of teams of 4–12 runners; teams with 6 or fewer runners are considered “ultra” teams. The 200-mile distance is divided between the runners...

We Love Jules Legut!
