Pete Taboada

Peter Taboada, known as Pete—The Visionary Artist, is a guest artist at Big Raven Yoga and is the designer of the very popular Wings of Rebirth.

Most of Pete’s art is inspired by Leonardo da Vinci and Freydoon Rassouli. Pete is also inspired by everyday art and artists that are encountered during a typical day — art is everywhere when you have your eyes open to see it.

Pete was very excited to create Wings of Rebirth in collaboration with Big Raven Yoga. Inspired by his own experience, the design is a powerful energy painting about transformation and new beginnings. The original version of Wings of Rebirth was done on canvas using acrylic paint.

Pete hopes to bring a positive shift in awareness to those who engage with his art. He hopes to convey to people that there is always light at the end of the tunnel and that there is hope even when you may not see it.
