Basket-Woven Wall Hanging Art Kit

September’s Art Kit of the Month is an easy, straightforward project that will put you in a relaxed, zen-like space using upcycled paper and a recycled frame. I call it my “basket-weave” pattern, but it only looks woven; it’s actually made from folded strips of paper. You'll be able to choose from at least three different project sizes (small, medium, and large — the middle-sized pattern is shown here) depending on how much time and energy you want to devote to this. (Really, you can make this as big as you want, including covering an entire wall of your house!)

You only need to supply a recycled (or thrifted) picture frame, a little hot glue, a scissors or paper cutter, homemade brew, and some time! (This is a great project to work on while watching TV or listening to your favorite podcast!)
