This is the second in a series celebrating our happy customers. Lisa was our second customer (and the first to come back and order a second yoga mat from us). This weekend, Friday–Sunday, March 23–25, 2019, we’re exhibiting at our amazing hometown Tula Software Minneapolis Yoga Conference! We’ve met so many incredible yogis here! Everyone’s response to our innovative new yoga mats has been fantastic, and we’ve talked with SO many studio owners looking for custom and branded yoga mats for their own studios, both for use in-studio and to sell through their retail spaces. This week’s Freebie Friday is a quote by the late gorilla primatologist Dian Fossey. She was murdered in Rwanda in 1985 for her conservation efforts, and it was the last entry in her diary. This ties in to this week’s Mat of the Week, Terry in His Heartland, my own personal tribute to my (rather hirsute) father. Terry in His Heartland is a very special and personal yoga mat for me. I’m so grateful to my team for their creative collaboration and thoughtfulness bringing this project to fruition. My dad, Terry, had a fascination and love for gorillas. Any primate really, but gorillas in particular. One of my favorite childhood memories occurred on a family trip to the San Diego Zoo.
